Promoting Menstrual Health Awareness Through the Preshh Reusable Pad Initiative

Precious BlossomGirls Initiative recently organized a menstrual health awareness outreach focused on increasing knowledge around menstrual hygiene, reproductive health, confidence-building, and sustainable menstrual care.

As part of the outreach, young girls participated in the training and official launch of the Preshh Reusable Sanitary Pad Initiative, sponsored by Global Changemakers.

The program reached girls across schools and communities, providing menstrual health education, sanitary support, and practical demonstrations on the use and making of reusable sanitary pads.

Beyond providing materials and training, the outreach created a safe and engaging space where girls could ask questions freely, share their experiences, and learn without fear or stigma. Participants gained practical knowledge and skills that will help them manage their menstrual health with greater confidence, dignity, and sustainability.
